Hey Tarpons! Coach Rachel is thrilled to be back with this summer! I have spent the past 18 summers with the team and am excited to be back for my 9th year as a coach. During the school year, I am a 6th grade teacher at SMS and coach the volleyball and basketball teams! I have a passion for working with kids to be the best versions of themselves and I am so excited for another great summer. Summer league is the happiest time of the year for me and I cannot wait to get back in the water and see all of the big Tarpon smiles!

Howdy! My name is Angelina Lam. I am currently receiving my degree in Education from Texas A&M University. I am 20 years old. I have been on the Tarpons for 8years now. I have been coaching for the Tarpons for 5 years and can’t wait to continue. I swam for Austin high school swim team for four years, varsity. Hoping to share the experience with others. I’m excited to share my love for swimming with the kids.I can’t wait to teach this summer!!

Hi! I'm Chloe, and I've been a Tarpon since I was 5 years old. I'm a senior at Clements High School and a captain of the girls' soccer team. I will be attending Texas A&M University this fall to study computer science. I have been a volunteer coach for 2 years, and I am so excited to work with all the kids again this year!!

Hello everybody! My name is Tan Nguyen and I am 18. I swam on the Tarpons from the age of about 5 or 6 until now. I also swam on FCST for 3 years as well as ESCALATE for 3 years before i started swimming in high school where I was lucky to be on the team my freshman year during the time the school year was online due to Covid. I swam all 4 years the rest of the way from there. After my graduation from Austin High school, I plan to attend Wharton County Junior College this fall and then hopefully transfer to either the University of Houston or Texas A&M University. As this is my first time coaching, I am real excited to help kids achieve their goals in the water this summer and love the sport.

Hi!! My name is Meredith Russow and I have been on Tarpons now for 14 years! I was a member of both the varsity waterpolo and swim teams at Travis High School and was Swim Captain this past year. Outside of Tarpons, I also teach swim lessons for Sugar Land Swim School and have lifeguarded in the past. I love teaching and coaching and will be pursuing that career pathway in the fall majoring in History at Texas A&M. Tarpons is my absolute favorite part of the summer and I love getting to witness each child’s progress over the course of the season! Can’t wait!
