RSVPs are the big thing we need this week!! We need to know by 8 AM this Monday (6/25) whether you are in for Meet of Champions* on July 6-- click here to opt in or out now (only those who opt in will swim; only those who opt in now will get an MOC shirt!) If you have swimmers in both morning (10 & under) and afternoon (11 & up) MOC, please opt in to each meet.

Note: If your team shirt chosen at registration was not the right size, email Laura at [email protected] immediately with the correct size for your MOC shirt (youth medium is still the smallest available). Otherwise, we’ll get the same size as your team shirt.

We also need RSVPs for the Saturday clinic (June 23) on butterfly and breaststroke, ABSENCES for Meet #4 & #5, RSVPs for the end-of-year party, and ABSENCES for All-Stars (if you earn a spot but can’t be there, we need to know ahead of time!)

MOC SHIRTS for PARENTS: Volunteering at MOC and want to rock your own event shirt? Order your shirt on the website, now through 8:00 AM Monday (6/25). We won’t have extras, so if you want one, tell us now! (You don’t have to buy a shirt for your swimmer, just opt in by Monday, and the swimmer’s shirt is a gift from the team.)

VOLUNTEER for MOC: As you’re opting in for MOC, also sign up to volunteer! We need every family to volunteer for something. Post-season volunteering is in addition to your 5 regular-season shifts, so everybody is on again to help. Thank you for signing up early!

LET’S DO LUNCH: Friday, June 22, DQ, Hwy 90A in Telfair -- 12:30 PM meet-up. DQ is giving the team 10% of your order all day on Friday (tell them you are with the Tarpons), so if you can’t come at 12:30, come anytime.

FOURTH MEET 6/26/18: Our 4th meet is at HOME vs. Sugar Land, at the Club pool. If you’re signed up to volunteer, make a note of these times – showing up on time and staying at your post throughout your assigned job are required to complete your volunteer shift.

*MORE ABOUT MOC: Meet of Champions (MOC) is the post-season meet where all swimmers get to showcase their best swimming, with all of the teams from Division 1. The meet is held in two parts (10 & Under, and 11 & Up) at FBISD’s Don Cook Natatorium, on July 6. All Tarpons who have competed at two or more regular-season meets are eligible to swim at MOC. The opt-in page has the option to suggest strokes that you would like to swim, but as always, the final event assignments are up to the coaches.
