Stroke Judge Clinics

WHAT: Southwest Houston Recreational Swim League (SHRSL) Stroke Judge Clinics

WHO: Anybody who wants to be a stroke judge at meets this year, PLUS anybody who would like to learn more about the sport of swimming and what correct stroke form should look like.

WHEN/WHERE: The full schedule of clinics is listed on the SHRSL website. The one here in New Territory is scheduled on June 6, but it's the final one before the season starts, so you might want to go to an earlier clinic.

WHICH: If you took any clinic last year, you can choose the 30-minute refresher clinic.  If you did not do a clinic last year, or if you want more information, choose the 2-hour full clinic.  (If you're not sure when your last clinic was, check here.)

WHY: Stroke judges at SHRSL meets must be certified by SHRSL, and we need stroke judges to be able to have our meets!

HOW: Just show up at the time and place listed and look for the clinic group near the pool.  Note that you must be there from start to finish of the clinic, and sign in at the end, to be certified.  All the clinics are the same, and you are welcome to attend at any of the locations.
