Meet of Champions is coming up on July 8, and we need to know whether you’re swimming! Your swimmer will receive his or her very own 2016 Meet of Champions shirt if you do both of these two things:

1) By 5:00 AM this Thursday (6/30), opt in to the Meet of Champions on our website, by going to the meet page and changing the meet status of each swimmer who will attend from “(undeclared)” to “Attending.” Be sure to click “Save” at the bottom of the page when you are done! 2) Come to the Meet of Champions and swim!

The rest of our meets have been opt-out meets, but we need you to opt IN for the Meet of Champions! (If you know that you will not attend, it also helps us if you opt out – thank you!)

Meet of Champions (MOC) Quick Facts:

• MOC is on Friday, July 8 at the Don Cook Natatorium. 10 & Under swimmers check in at 6:45 AM (volunteers 7:15 AM) and meet starts at 8:00 AM. 11 & Up swimmers check in at 1:45 PM (volunteers 2:15 PM) and meet starts at 3:00 PM.
• All Tarpons who have participated in at least 2 regular season meets are eligible to swim at MOC.
• You don’t need to do anything with the individual event entry part of the meet page; all we need is “Attending” or “Not attending.”
• Your MOC shirt size will match your team shirt size. If you need a different size, email [email protected] immediately with the swimmer name and correct size. The smallest size available is Youth Medium.
• Volunteer signup for MOC will open very soon – watch for another announcement via team email.
• Division 1 and Division 2 will both have their MOC meets at the natatorium at the same time. Expect a crowd, pack light, and plan for patience!
